Prior to meeting Steve from S&SS, we had met with other outdoor shade companies and were not impressed with the customer service, price, and quality of products.
Steve @ S&SS was very attentive to our needs and immediately provided us with samples and videos of a clean solution (electric-powered shades). He supported us by providing samples to provide to our HOA for the approval process and was patient throughout the entire process. The installation team's process was streamlined efficiently from scheduling to the installation and completion of the project. They ensured the area was clean and tidy and laid down tarp to protect the work area. I would highly recommend hiring the team at S&SS for your shades in your home and especially their outdoor shades! read less

He was so knowledgable and walked me through all the questions I had and was even able to get me the rough cost of my windows over the phone - all I had to do was provide him with approximate measurements. The price they give you is inclusive of everything from beginning to end so it felt nice having an open, honest quote with no surprise fees at the end. The process does take a little while (about 2 weeks for Shades and 5-6 weeks for Shutters) but it was well worth the wait and with the price they gave me? No complaints here. I highly recommend their services if you are in need of a small upgrade or a complete home makeover. I will be placing another order with them in the future! read less

We ordered shutters for two large windows in our living room, a window in our dinning room, and one for a bedroom. The sales person was able to answer all of our questions and provided valuable suggestions. It didn't feel like they were just trying to earn our money, but genuinely wanted to help us reach our home improvement goals. The person who came to install the shutters was able to finish the job quickly without losing precision. It was amazing how efficient he was with his time in assembling the pieces. The entire project took less than half the day; everything was on time. It was also a plus that the owner followed up with us after the project.Product:The shutters have a great modern design. The whole frame is light, yet very sturdy. It doesn't feel like they are giving you cheap materials. The shutters are segmented into different chunks (top, down, left, right), so you can also vary the degree of sunlight that shines in at different locations! I was instantly amazed by the open layout and the huge selection of shades and shutters to choose from. The lady helping me was very nice and extremely helpful. She instantly made me feel comfortable and let me know of the options that were available for my parent's place and gave me a very affordable estimate. They come out for a measure, give you recommendations on site and bring along with them a huge sample box filled with Shutter frames, colors and fabric choices for Shades. I ended up going with Shades as they are more affordable and I am so pleased with the result! Their Zebra Shades offer the perfect amount of lighting and privacy and I love how modern it makes my home look. They have over 100 different fabric designs to choose from and I was able to mix and match to compliment my home. Luckily, I continued my search online and found Shutter Shade Shoppe. Upon contacting them, I was scheduled with a free measurement the next day. The final quote was emailed to me not even 2 hours after they left my house and I was able to place my order before the end of the day. Talk about efficiency! Shutters take about 5 weeks to arrive but are well worth the wait. The quality and finish is fantastic and it makes me feel even better that I saved over half my initial cost by going with Shutter Shade Shoppe.
